"I must say that the past year and a half I've spent with the coaches at Altamonte Crossfit has been one of the most transformative forces in my life in more ways than one. I came in with the intentions of bringing some life into my workouts by starting Olympic lifting once again as I had back in highschool. It was then that the coaches introduced me to crossfit as a way to introduce a full body workout and cardio at the same time. My body struggled at first but it turns out that with struggle comes change. 30 pounds and six new abs later I'm in the best shape of my life at age 31. I now look at my body like my foundation for life...hard work, discipline, and consistency. I don't get credit for most of the things I do in life, but this, you can't take from me. If I visit other traditional gyms now they seem so cold, mechanical, and devoid of energy...I couldn't imagine working out any other place but Altamonte Crossfit."

"Our son has been going to Crossfit for almost one year. I never thought he would enjoy working out as much as he does. The positive & high energy atmosphere is contagious, the workouts are always changing and everyone feels welcomed, and most of like a winner! Danny Camargo and his staff do an excellent job of keeping everyone focused and trying their best at all times."

What is Crossfit?

CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for anyone from beginners and the "out-of-shape" to elite and professional athletes throughout the world. What makes Altamonte CrossFit & Sports Performance special is that it's a recognized USA Weightlifting Regional Training Center. Our facility is everything CrossFit gyms are with special attention to the Olympic lifts.

The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability, which makes it the perfect application for any committed individual, regardless of his or her experience. The same routines are used for individuals with limited mobility, young athletes and military personnel. The load and intensity change but the program does not!

The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree, not type of exercise. Hunters, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen.

Training Center

Our facilities are nationally recognized as a Regional Training Center in the sport of Olympic Weightlifting by USA Weightlifting. Through our club team, Team Florida Altamonte a.k.a Altamonte Weightlifting, the facilities of A.C.S.P. develop young athletes in Weightlifting through education, training, and competition. To date, our club team has produced 9 National Champions (Schoolage & Junior Divisions), 9 U.S. Team Members, 5 Collegiate Scholarships, and various State titles as a team. Our program has also developed multiple state and national record holders.

Our programs are designed by U.S. International Coach, Daniel Camargo, along with his well experienced and certified coaches. The mission of our Olympic Weightlifting Regional Training Center is to promote the sport of Olympic Weightlifting, educate youth on the importance of proper technique, produce local, state, national, and international competitors, and to provide a location for training for other teams whether at the state, national, or international level.
